Puppies are available occasionally. They are micro-chipped and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. All pups are well socialized, with written health guarantee, and appropriate vaccination protocol completed for the age of the pup.

Westies have extensive grooming and exercise needs. Pups are not easily available for purchase, and we are very discriminating about where our dogs are placed. Expect to be asked many questions about your life style. Be prepared to wait.

Moreover, the prospective owner must consider that the average life span of the Westie is 12 - 15 years and the reality is such that one must be prepared for the dog's longevity and inevitable old age.

Also, the prospective owner must realize that the Westie is a hunter by instinct and therefore, must be properly enclosed in secure fencing or under its owner's personal supervision at all times for its own safety. A Westie is never to be taken outside, 'off lead'.
